We are currently casting for the roles of Bert & Cookey for our forthcoming production of Bomb Happy.

Told in their own words, Bomb Happy follows the unique journeys of the last five remaining York Normandy Veterans (at 18/19 years of age), from D-Day to VE Day, and highlights the lifelong impact of Conflict Stress Disorder.
Casting for:
Cookey – (playing age 18 -23 North Yorkshire accent)
Bert – (18- 23  from Bermondsey, London)


Auditions will take place on Tuesday 23rd April with re-calls on Saturday 29th April 2019 in York.

Rehearsal dates (tbc) will fall between May 12th and June 12th 2019 in York.

Performance Dates: 13th – 21st June
York Army Museum 13th -16th June ( to include matinee & evening performances)
Schools & cadet performances including live streaming:
Monday 17th June (7pm)
Tuesday 18th June (7pm)
Thursday 20th June (1.20pm)
Friday 21st June (1.30pm)

Please note you will need to be available from 10am for matinee performances and 2pm for evening performances.

The Veterans will accompany the tour and meet the audiences after the show.
